Know & Nurture. An Adventure in Self Exploration.

The Know & Nurture program is a series of 5 yoga workshops. Held once a month over the length of the growing season each is designed to create a framework through which you can experience who you are. (Click on the dates for specific description of the month's focus.) That frame work will be the elements. We are all inextricably linked to the natural world, literally and metaphorically. Utilizing the concepts of earth, water, fire, air, and ether (space) we will set the intention to know that part of ourselves linked to that element.

Each workshop will be between 75 and 90 minutes long and will include centering, breathing techniques, physical postures, resting, and meditation. Bring a mat and any props you have. (blocks, blankets, pillows, eye pillows, straps) Classes will be held outside, so please consider bug spray and sun screen. Each workshop will include time at the conclusion of meditation to journal about your experience. Don’t forget a journal and pen.

Register for each class individually; attend any or all. Classes are on the second Saturday of the month (May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, and September 14), with rain dates on the fourth Saturday of the month. Class maximum is 20 participants; class will be canceled with fewer than 7 registrants. We will meet in the visitor parking across the street from the farmhouse. Class will be held in the field at the top of the hill.

June Workshop: Water Another aspect of your physicality is water. Water is the medium in which all physiological processes are performed. When we are in contact with our fluid nature we are better able to handle change, especially unpredictability.
