Celebrate Mariaville: Then and Now

On September 19th, the Duanesburg  Historical Society will celebrate the lakeside community of Mariaville, “Mariaville — Then and Now”  from 10-3 at its Research and Archive Center,  450 Quaker Lane, hamlet of Quaker Street.  Guests are invited to step back in time through memorable displays, nostalgic photographs, and children’s games from the past.

Becky Watrous and Mark Weinheimer have also created a “Mariaville Corn Hole Game” for everyone to enjoy.

New Book Release

In conjunction with the event, we will debut Remembering the Town of Duanesburg, Volume 5. This 157-page book features new research into our town’s history, memorable stories shared by community members, and engaging histories “tucked away” in our collection.

Copies will be available for $20.00.

Volumes 2, 3, and 4 of Remembering the Town of Duanesburg will also be available at the reduced price of $15.00 each.
