Forestbathing and mindfulness of our natural surroundings has become a very popular way of personally enjoying and appreciating nature. We will start with a moment recognizing the Native People's who were the first to live on this land and continue to so. This will lead to an easy walk with stops along the way where we will explore with all of our senses. Be prepared to sit or lay on the ground. Bring a small blanket, sit-upon, or easily carried chair. Dress guarded against ticks, and bring a journal or sketch pad if you are so inclined. Partial funding for this class provided through a grant from Stewart’s Shops Holiday Match Program.
