Have you ever walked through a woodlot and wondered what plants you were looking at? Join us from 10  to 11:30 AM to learn more!

This class will cover the basics of plant identification. It will also cover the science behind what causes fall colors to be spectacular. You are encouraged to bring plant parts to be identified. 

The class involves a walk around the grounds of Landis Arboretum. It also includes classroom time with a collection of books and online apps to help with plant identification.

Participants should wear reasonable walking shoes and apparel for varied walking terrain.
