Nature is many things to many people. Join us from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM as we explore the therapeutic to the threatening, from the joys of bathing in nature to the terror of being lost in the woods. We'll explore some of the most evocative texts, poetry and prose, fiction and non-fiction, as stimuli for our work. You are welcome to come with or without prior writing experience. Our instructor is supportive of writers of all levels. This event is funded in part by Poets & Writers with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
NOTE: This class will be on Zoom. Registrants will receive the Zoom link prior to the first class. Please email the Arboretum at info@landisarboretum.org to register.
Instructor: Fiction writer Susannah Risley
