Sponsorship:
For as little as $250, you can sponsor a program or event. In exchange, your name or your company name will appear in conjunction with that event on our Calendar, on our website, and in any promotional materials related to that event.And to protect and showcase your brand, only one sponsor will be assigned to any one event. The exceptions to the one sponsor/one event guideline will be our two annual Plant Sale fundraisers, our Annual 5K Cross Country Classic, and the yearly celebration of Fred Lape, founder of the Arboretum. It is important to find multiple sponsors for these resource-intensive events: for example, last year, the tee shirts for the 5K were underwritten by Kintz Plastics of Howes Cave, and the food and refreshments by NBT Bank, Duanesburg.
Registration
Unless otherwise noted, advanced registration with payment in full is required for all programs.
Please register early: programs fill up quickly. If registering for a class and less than one week
remains before the program date, please call to confirm space availability. If you are not a Landis Arboretum member, you may join when you register, pay the member program fee, and take advantage of program discounts for members.

By Telephone: Call Landis at 518-875-6935. Our staff will be happy to complete your registration using MasterCard or VISA. Have your course and credit card information ready.
By Mail: Complete the registration form and return it with your check, money order, or credit card authorization (MasterCard and VISA only) to Landis. All checks and money orders should be made payable the Landis Arboretum. Additional copies of the registration form can be downloaded at www.landisarboretum.org. By Fax: Complete the registration form including your MasterCard or VISA payment authorizationand fax it to Landis. Fax: 518-875-6394.
In Person: Come to Landis. Please call ahead to make sure the office is open. The office telephone number is: 518-875-6935. Note: registering in person should be done prior to the program start date to ensure space availability.
Confirmation Information
Written confirmation will not be sent for every program. To receive a written confirmation, make sure to request it at the time of registration. You will be notified if you do not get into a program because you restrictions on class size. You will also be notified if your name has been placed on a waiting list. Please read all future correspondence carefully; it may contain information pertinent to your program selection, such as what to bring or wear, directions to a location, etc.
Filled Programs/Wait Lists
Most programs have minimum and maximum enrollments. Some programs have waiting lists. If the program of your choice is full, you will be placed on a wait list for the next scheduled date for that program. If you do not wish to remain on the waiting list, notify Landis and a refund will be issued. We notify registrants at least 24 hours in advance of the program only if space becomes available. If space does not open up, you will receive a full refund within three weeks of the program date.
Cancellation/Refund
Program fees can not be refunded for any cancellation 7 days prior to the program. If you no longer plan to attend a workshop for which you are registered, you must notify Landis at least one week prior to the first class in order to receive a refund.. Landis reserves the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, or to cancel programs due to low enrollment. A full refund will be processed if a program is cancelled. Refunds require approximately three weeks for processing.
Inclement Weather
Most programs are held rain or shine; please dress accordingly. If a program is cancelled as a result of extreme weather conditions, an attempt will be made to notify participants and full refunds will be issued. For questions about the status of a program, please call 518-875- 6935. For programs that list a rain date, we recommend that you hold the alternate date open. Refunds will not be issued if the class is switched to its alternate date and you are not able to attend.
